The Pennsylvania Driving Under the Influence Association will be celebrating the 27th Anniversary of the DUI Top Gun Awards this week. The Association will honor 38 municipal law enforcement officers with the 2024 DUI TOP GUN Awards.
We expect a great deal from our law enforcement officers. We ask them to be a counselor, teacher, medical technician, social worker, psychologist, mentor and negotiator, and then we expect them to enforce the laws. Law enforcement officers in Pennsylvania deserve a thank you for the work in reducing the threat of impaired drivers on our roadways. It is with this intent that the PA DUI Association has developed and offers this award to police officers that have a demonstrated commitment to DUI/DRE enforcement.
On Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 6:30 pm the following Pennsylvania police officers will receive the 2024 DUI/DRE TOP GUN Awards at the PA DUI Association’s 45th Annual Meeting and Training Conference at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

The honored Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) Officers specialize in recognizing drug impairment and they assist officers by performing an evaluation to determine impairment.
First time DUI TOP GUN Award winners will also receive a preliminary breath testing device from the DUI Association to assist them in further identifying and removing impaired drivers from our roadways.
